The Broussard 17th Annual Independence Day Festival at St. Julien Park will be on Monday, July 4th. Gates open at 4:00 pm, and they will have activities in the Kids’ Zone (the Blue Pod) that include water fun with the Broussard Fire Department, face painting, fun jumps, the splash pad, and a DJ! They will also have a hot dog eating contest at 5 pm in the Red Pod, Three Thirty Seven takes the stage at 6 pm, and an amazing fireworks show will begin at 9 pm!
Don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs, but please leave your ice chests at home. There will be plenty of food and drinks available for purchase.
