Pet-Friendly Broussard

Approximately 70 percent of households have at least one pet. With such a majority of the population belonging to this group, Broussard has made considerable efforts to make Broussard as pet-friendly as possible so that your four-legged family members will enjoy living here just as much as you do.

Recently, ZenDog, a dog training facility from Duson, announced its plans to move to the Broussard area. This addition to Broussard’s dog boarding and training facilities will give residents more options to find exceptional training and care they need for their furry family members. ZenDog will be located on Albertson Parkway in the building that used to be Family Dollar. A representative of the business stated that the larger facility will allow employees to better care for their furry clientele. Not only will ZenDog offer doggie daycare, private lessons, and group training, but they will also provide services such as luxury boarding and a self-serve dog washing station.

ZenDog isn’t the only place for your dog to relax and have some fun! Leashed pets are always invited to travel with you along the scenic trails found at St. Julien Park. The paved walking trail spans the majority of the park and is sure to be a wonderful source of exercise for you and your pet. Arceneaux Park, which the city is currently renovating into a luxurious green space for residents, is also sure to be your pet’s new favorite hangout.
